Project: Gwinnett One Stop

\nThe Gwinnett One Stop project in Snellville, GA, showcased our ability to execute complex site development in close proximity to active community facilities. This comprehensive project began with the careful demolition of an existing walking trail, followed by the clearing and grading of an eleven-acre site to prepare for the construction of a new community service center. The location presented unique challenges, as it was directly behind and adjoining an active library and senior center, requiring meticulous planning and execution to minimize disruption. Our earthwork operations included the export of approximately 8,000 cubic yards of soil to accommodate the foundation of the new structure. We also modified the outlet control structure of an existing public pond to ensure proper stormwater management. The project’s scope encompassed extensive utility work, including the installation of 900 linear feet of 8-inch C900 sewer line with 14 manholes, and 1,700 linear feet of new storm line with 15 manholes. A key feature was the installation of a new 8-foot diameter, 22-foot deep lift station to manage sewer flows for both existing buildings and the new facility, along with the decommissioning of two existing lift stations. Our team also completed comprehensive site grading for parking lots, roadways, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. The project concluded with the installation of new domestic water and fire suppression services for the community center. Throughout this multifaceted project, our team demonstrated expertise in managing complex site logistics while maintaining sensitivity to surrounding active community facilities.
